Baby Story Time: Feather Songs

These sweet little songs and rhymes are perfect to do with a feather or just by touching baby gently.

Eyes, nose, cheeky cheeky chin
Eyes, nose, cheeky cheeky chin
Eyes, nose, cheeky cheeky chin
Cheeky cheeky chin, and eyes, and nose.

These are baby’s fingers
These are baby’s toes
This is baby’s belly button
Round and round it goes

One little, two little, three little toesies,
Four little, five little, six little toesies,
Seven little, eight little, nine little toesies,
Ten little tickley toes!

This little piggy went to the market.
This little piggy stayed home.
This little piggy ate roast beef.
This little piggy had none.
And this little piggy cried,
“Wee, wee, wee,” all the way home.

Pizza, pickle, pumpernickel (fingers).
My little one shall have a tickle!
One for his/her nose.
And one for his/her toes.
And one for his/her tummy where the pizza goes!!

Head, shoulders, knees, & toes
Knees & toes, knees & toes
Head, shoulders, knees, & toes
Eyes, ears, mouth & nose

Two little eyes to look around
Two little ears to hear each sound
One little nose to smell what's sweet
And one little mouth that likes to eat.

Hurry scurry mousie
Starts down at your toes.
Hurry scurry mousie
Past your knees he goes.
Hurry scurry mousie
Past where your tummy is.
Hurry scurry mousie
Give your mousie a kiss!

Round and round the garden
Chase the teddy bear
One step
Two step
Tickle him under there!

Head and shoulders baby 1, 2, 3
Head and shoulders baby 1, 2, 3
Head and shoulders baby 1, 2, 3
Verses:
Knees and toes baby 1, 2, 3…
Back and tummy baby 1,2,3…

1 little, 2 little, 3 little hearts
4 little, 5 little, 6 little hearts
7 little, 8 little, 9 little hearts
10 little hearts and a kiss!

Tony Chestnut knows I love you
Tony knows, Tony knows
Tony Chestnut knows I love you
That’s what Tony Chestnut knows.

A creepy, crawly monster
Is coming straight at me.
Closer and closer,
He climbs upon my knee.
Up to my shoulder the monster’s much too near.
“Happy Halloween”
He whispers in my ear.
(tune of Itsy Bitsy Spider)

The moon is round
As round can be.
Two eyes, a nose,
And a mouth like me!

Everybody knows I love my toes.
Everybody knows I love my toes.
I love my shoulders, my knees, my elbows, and my nose.
But everybody knows I love my toes.

This little train ran up the track
It went Choo! Choo!
And then it ran back
The other little train ran up the track
It went Choo! Choo!
And then it ran back.

Peek-a-boo, peek-a-boo
I see you, I see you
I see your button nose
I see your tiny toes
I see you, peek-a-boo
(tune of Frere Jacques)
